'My absolute favourite place to eat in Brighton. Nanima serves a variety of asian dishes cooked on the day. The changing menu always has veggie + vegan options, and a big meal of coconut rice, daal and curry costs less than £10. The owners are lovely + take their time to show you all the options available. We got a vanilla matcha tea latte on recommendation, cherry on the cake, it's a pretty place, loads of gorgeous plants everywhere. This is where you want to eat, if you want to find a proper Brightonian spot – a quality homage to asian food in the best area of Brighton.'

After a lovely welcome and description of all the veggie fare on offer I tucked in to just the best mixed plate of subtly spiced, warming curry items, crispy salad and crunchy bhaji, all washed down with a draft Cobra. 'Delicious new eatery in Kemptown, Brighton. I have visited this café a number of times and have always appreciated the effort taken by the owners to prepare and present new dishes from across Asia. The food is honest, homely and tastes great. I've enjoyed too may dishes to list here but the Afghan lamb dish needs a special mention. The warm welcome is much appreciated and the soundtrack adds to a relaxing atmosphere where, it seems, time slows down a little to give one some time to pause, open your sense doors and take in the good. 'Highly recommend this restaurant/cafe. The food was so authentic, I felt like I was back in the Far East. The front of house staff were so welcoming and accommodating it actually felt like I was a family guest eating at their home. Try all the main dishes and special drinks they are all delicious if you’re a meat eater or veggie/vegan. My favourite has to be the laksa it’s incredible, full of favour, and don’t stop there also treat yourself for a desert of banana cake and a matcha latte.'
