MAIN DISHES
At Nanima we offer a diverse range of speciality dishes from across Asia, from Punjabi Malaysian and Singaporean specialities to favourites from the culinary traditions of Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and China, Japan and Korea, as well as very many dishes from across the Indian sub-continent including Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
Each day sees a different selection of dishes, all freshly prepared on the premises, with the menu balanced across all non-vegetarian, vegetarian and vegan offerings to enable customers to select anything from a cheeky snack to a fully satisfying meal.
There are always two main non-vegetarian dishes on offer, such as Malaysian Chilli Lamb, Chinese Roast Duck, Thai Red Chicken Curry or Keralan Fish & Coconut Curry.
We also often have other non-vegetarian options such as Korean Spicy Chicken, Thai Fish Cakes, Japanese Teriyaki or Tandoori Chicken.
Vegetarian dishes include Indonesian Sambal Grilled Aubergine, Sri Lankan Spinach & Sweet Potato with Coconut Milk, Northern Indian Yellow Daal with Carrots and Lemon, Chinese Pak Choi with Roasted Garlic, oven-baked Butternut Squash and lightly-spiced Turmeric Cauliflower.
All our vegetarian dishes, with the exception of the wonderful Southern Indian Boiled Egg & Tomato Curry or the Chickpea and Potato Curry with Yoghurt, are vegan.
Every day sees us offering Steamed Coconut Rice as well as a second rice such as Malaysian Nasi Goreng, alongside a vegan noodle dish of some kind, such as Rice Vermicelli or Mung Daal or Tapioca Noodles with Mixed Vegetables.
Additional noodle dishes are offered frequently.
Also, our wonderful Thai Spicy Papaya Salad is available only on Fridays and Saturdays.
